S There are two types of keywords: short-tail and long-tails keywords. They both can enable your website to be found by people who looking for what you are selling.

short-tail keywords

LONG-TAIL keywords

Long-tail keywords consist of three or more words. They are easier to rank. This means if your website has long keywords it is more likely to found by people who are looking for what you are selling. Long-tail keywords are more specific. Some examples of long-tail keywords are website developer with good review or hotel with indoor pool and spa

short-tail keywords

Some major difference between these two is that the long tail has a traffic of 70%, as compared to short-tails which has only 30% traffic.  Researching for long-tail is hard, but is easy to research for short-tail.
